Default d6y8 aem cam gear help
Yes i have a aem cam gear it has 38 teeth will this fit the d16y8 motor please tell me yes. before i put everything togethere thanks. email me at

count the teeth on stock one, if its off by one or two it MIGHT start up if its on time, then run out of timing and f*ck up, maybe even to the poiunt of knocking a valve into a piston....

is it a 88-95 or 96-00 cam gear?

They are timed differently.

i have a d16y6 and have a 96-00 cam gear on it, havent had any problems yet. are you aware of any problems i may have farther down the road?
