Question for owners of Granada black cars
When I bought my car the bone head who painted the replacement hood did not paint the underside. I want to paint the correct way before I reapply the new emissions/srs decals. Is the underside going to be base coat Granada black with no clear ( Not shiny ) or is it supposed to be shiny under the hood, like the outside of the car?
The rest of the engine compartment looks like semi gloss or flat Granada, but I'm not sure if that’s because the paint in their has never been waxed.
I just want it to look correct.

Thanks
I'm going to get the paint this week.
BTW Should I just leave the black primer on the hood alone? Besides wiping it down with a prep solvent.
