I'm lookin to paint my DA flat black, not primer, but the actual paint. I saw a EG and another DA wif this color and I thought that they looked bad ***. Can anybody recommend a brand to which I should buy the paint from? And to whose who have painted their cars flat black, what's the amount of paint and primer I should buy? I've never gone shopping for paint before so I need help.

First of all, if I like a color then I like it. Lots of folks copy others' style and there's nothing wrong with that. Not everyone can be orignal. And secondly, I didn't say I wanted that color because I saw someone else did it. Next time, you should try posting a reply with a productive and helpful comment instead of bashing.

OK, you got me there. But what's your problem anyways man? What...you don't like it when someone paints their car the same color as someone else's? I'm just trying to get some help since this forum is mostly about helping others and getting helped right? I think you need to grow up and start being more of a useful member to Honda-Tech and stop being a waste of online space.

There are NUMEROUS cars on honda-tech and pretty much EVERY type of vehicles that are similar setups.

i used krylon rust-tough semi-flat black.. took like 5 cans each of primer and paint

yeah um u following the jdm trend u are un original or the clean look again un original so unless u got something no one has ever seen befor stfu and dont rag on other people

to the OP good luck with the paint job i have seen a couple in person that were painted flat black and not primer and it looks really clean if dont right
