Default Removing the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). How to deal with the light.

So I searched...and I found nothing about how to get rid of the light...except everyone telling someone else to search harder or something....and that its complicated and requires some kind of jumping...

My goal is to remove the entire SRS system...computer, airbags, and keep the damn SRS light off. I plan to change to a new steering wheel and I'd like to be able to keep my gauges from looking like a christmas tree...

can you just pull the entire system and have the srs light not go off? Or is there a wire behind the cluster that has a power to the SRS light that can be snipped?...
