Get a ride in w/ the Spoon DC5...Coming to VA w/ GTLive Tour oct. 6-8th
Here's a chance for you guys to get a ride in the Spoon DC5 race car. The following is some info regarding the GT Live Tour in Virginia Int'l Raceway on Oct. 6-8th.
This is what the Gtlive staff sent to me:
1. The ASM S2000 is coming from Japan. It is the fastest NA time attack
Honda in Japan. It has never been here and will go right back after the
event. This a unique opportunity to see one of the hottest S2000s in
the world. Better yet, a few lucky people will
get rides in this car with Tarzan Yamada at the wheel. All you have to
do is stand in line. And Sport Compact Car will be on site doing a
feature on the car so it is an opportunity to go behind the scenes of a
major shoot. This may be a cover car so this might be pretty cool.
2. We have a Spoon festival going on. That means we are letting 200
Hondas park in the North Paddock right next to all the race teams.
There is no additional charge for this. You just have to get there
early and pick up a pass.
3. As part of the Spoon festival we'll be giving rides in Spoon cars
and they will be racing in the professional time attack. Mr. Ichijima,
the founder of Spoon will also be there to give rides, race, sign
autographs and to talk with people about their cars.
4. NCCA is putting on a sanctioned car show with a Honda class.
5. We are letting people drive their car on the track in an amateur
time attack. We offer 3 days of racing for only $99.
6. As part of the Spoon festival we are giving the Honda guys their own
go kart session on VIRs professional track. There is no additional
charge for this. The track and equipment are top level. Some of the
best in the country.
