Default Car won't turn over... possible electric problem

Sorry, it's pretty long, I just want to make sure I give as much info as I can for troubleshooting...

So this morning I go and try to remote start my car from my apartment... but it doesn't start. I assumed it was from me not setting the reservation mode correctly (i have a manual).

So I go down and try to start the car, and it doesn't turn over. All I heard was a few slow clicks. I thought maybe it was the battery... but my lights all work and so does my stereo. The weird thing is that when I tested my headlights, my radio turns off.

I get out of my car, and for some reason the car arms itself on its own (which it shouldn't be doing) and doesn't lock the doors. The remote stops responding and when I open the door, the alarm goes off. I try to start the car after the alarm goes off but doesn't work. I reset the alarm and the remote so now everything there is working fine. But now when I try to start the car, all I hear is a loud and extremely fast clicking in the general area of the distributor. I tried checking the fuses and they all seem to be intact, but I don't have a test light so I can't be 100% sure.

- about 2 weeks ago I had a shop install a compustar alarm and remote starter.
- the battery terminals are secured tightly
- the installer told me he didn't mess with any of the car's ground wires (someone stole my jack so I couldn't check them all)
- this is the first time I've tried starting the car manually w/the key in about 1-2 weeks
- I haven't tried push-starting yet because I'm in an apt garage and I don't think I'd be able to push the car up the ramp
- I tried jump-starting w/another car and I still only get really fast clicking

any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated... I have a ridiculous amount of stuff I have to for school this week, and this just made my week that much crappier.
