Default Still making AN-R header?

This may be a stupid question because I read something about this a little while ago? I was looking into getting an anr compact header for my ef. I really dont want to buy the full race crossmember. If they are still making them pleaee let me know. Sorry if this topic has already been covered.

for the price an-r charges, go with a better header.

Exactly, thats the prob with the ef, this sucks! I guess there is really no choice, you must sacrifice to have a decent header.

a long time ago. the design has since been improved upon. in addition, the headers are no longer made by RMF (RMF is currently in a legal battle with them i believe). just cause he designed them a long time ago doesnt mean they are still made to the same quality, standards, or even to the same exact specs.

legal battle, impending legal battle. semantics really. RMF said himself if ANR sells his designs, he will take them to court.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1555526

btw, it appears the standart version is RMF design, NOT the compact version, which im sure this thread is in reference to, since clearance is a big issue. so your original statement that they are designed by RMF would be null and void, how about you stop starting false rumors? maybe sit the next couple plays out? kthnx.

jg edelborck proflow with 2.5 in collector mod, made 6 less hp than an smsp copy, with a standard 2.25'' collector, imagine what it will do with a 2.5''. 140 bucks on summit, blow out sale, will clear a stock x-member.

i havent seen an ANR that didnt crack after 6 months and no, im not here to bad mouth anyones header.

AN-R is way cheaper then an RMF bro AN-R= 550 when they were in production for the sport compact, you can touch and RMF for less that 1000 unless its used.

many of the anr headers have cracked, so the saying goes, u get what u pay for. even randy himself has said there was a design flaw with that header that makes them crack repeatedly. and RMF headers are a good bit less than $1000 brand new

the only an-r worth getting was the one with the merge collector. and it was 730 and that was uncoated. RMF headers were 700 coated. and i never directly compared it to RMF in the first place, i just said fr the price theres better headers.
