jdm and usdm
What year??
A couple things are possible... I'm not sure whether your year(??) has either of these.
1 - JDM VTEC engines don't have a vtec oil pressure switch. Your USDM ECU will be looking for that. JDM spool valve probably has a plug where that sensor will go.
2 - Some JDM OBD-2 engines don't have a CKF sensor. Your USDM ECU will be looking for that. For this you'll need a lower timing cover with the sensor, along with the US toothed ring & crankshaft timing sprocket.
Or... chipped ECU that's disabled for those functions.

it is obd1. 95 accord lx ex swap with ex ecu. will it be compatible. it is a chipped ecu the thing said and the jdm engine comes with everything but intake piping. has exhaust mani, intake mani, ac condenser, power steering pump, alt, etc etc etc.

Since it's OBD-1 you won't have to worry about the CKF sensor.
For the VTEC oil pressure switch, it all depends on whether that chipped ECU will be looking for the pressure switch. If you get ECU error code 21 or whichever (I don't have the code list right here), post back for a work-around. I think you can jumper over to the vtec solenoid valve but I'm not sure about the details.
