ok..

so i replaced the half shalf and drained the tranny fluid and all that fun stuff and its all done

but

im starting to smell tranny fluid like its burnt..

i dont know what this could be from

Having any leaks? And this may sound like I am trying to be a smart ***, but did you refill the transmission with the right type and amount of fluid?

there are no leaks and ya i refilled it with the right and amount

i dont know what it could be honestly... unless we didnt seal the half shaft into the tranny good enough and small amounts of tranny fluid are leaking and getting burned off?
