Ok. I am new here and I have a few questions. I am thinking of getting a new car this summer but i am unsure what to get. I would like to get an Accord V6 ex but was wondering if anyone has any things against the car? Or if anyone has a good suggestion for a different car.

Also if i get the accord, what are the best mods for preformance that will not break me on cash?

the trannies are weak, and most EVERY mod worth doing, breaks the bank

 

Get a 94 or 95 EX or a 4th gen Prelude.

 

or a wrx if you are going to dump cash on like a new v6 accord

you cant go wrong with mr2 turbo either....something turbocharged from the factory

 

Something turbo from factory: yes, WRX or even a 99 DSM...

 

or a first gen dsm cheap 12's

well we all go through broken parts so that should not stop the progress of things

 

id say get a 5th gen accord.IMO they are the best looking and relatively cheap to
mod. unless you just want something newer.

What is a DSM and a WRX, sorry i am out of the loop here.

Also, i mostly need it for a family car, so 4 doors. a good ride and good reliability to it. But other than that i am open for suggestions. Thanks in advance.

 

well, 4 doors: Suburu WRX... turbo, AWD, $24K, yum.

Be careful, the WRX's are at dealerships being repaired a little too often IMO.
