hey i was just wondering if anyone could narrow this leak down a bit further. I have had the leak for quite a while but it was just minor.. It has now turned into a big leak. I put a liter of oil in it last night. and i have drove for bout 25 km and im bout a liter low again. I have searched and found that the o ring on the dizzy is a common leak as well as cam seals. I dunno if this is the culprit of mine or not. I thought i would get a second opion before i spend any money on it. It only is leaking when motor is running. It seems to be spraying all over the place
Here is a link and the pictures are the last 5. I have a little free time today so if i could get a better idea that would be great

Well my first guess just from looking at the pictures is the valve cover. Did you replace it when you pulled your stock one to paint it? Personally since the seals are cheap and it's preventive maintenance you might as well just go ahead and look into replacing the valve cover gasket, spark plug tube seals and dizzy o-ring and maybe even the cam seal. You should pull the plugs while you're at it and check for oil as the valve train o-rings commonly wear out as well. If you really want to pin point it you will need to clean off as much oil as possible and check to see if you can spot where it's coming from and go from there. You can always use oil dye and a light if need be.

Also pull off your distributor cap and look for oil inside it if you have it there you will also need to replace your distributor oil seal

well i just cleaned it all up.. put new valve cover gasket and descovered it is leakin from the head gasket.. oh boy am i ever excited.. thanks for the quick replys. Does anyone know how much it should cost to have new head gasket put on?
Well there is an updated kit that includes a metal head gasket (stock is composite) and new head bolts. Warranty time is like 3 Hrs so most shops will probably charge 5-6 Hrs to do it. It isn't very hard on SOHC's. Just make sure you use the metal one.
