waste of time and money... keep your itr cams in for the 1.8L, keep the stock ITR intake arm, with an air box/comptech/mugen style induction. And then tune.

also, if the head needs new valve guides, are all b-series valve guides are the same? as in b18 and b16 heads, thx!
if you get new valve guides just buy oem ones and i'd probably let the people that are gonna install them buy them too... btw don't go bronze they were down too quick (assuming this is a daily)...
Yoorang, where did you find that Toda makes retainers? I've never seen Toda retainers before...

You don't have to worry about smacking a valve. You're still only looking at around 11.5:1 compression. That should be fine for the BC IV's.
I love the BC IV's!

thanks bro! the jdm itr have a 11.1 default, switching over the gsr head help me gain that 0.2, and the flat face is average 0.3 - 0.5 compression gain.... my worry is this compression might be too much on a 93 octane gas. will have it tune by hondata or neptune

I don't foresee a problem here. You're probably closer to 11.5:1 compression which you could PROBABLY get away with on 89 w/ good tuning. 91 here shouldn't be an issue.
