Default h20 intake on a h22a???

hey guys im new here, and to tell yall the truth am a diehard mustang man.im not here to start anything, or to bash yall or anything like that. just need some info on or race cars.we race honda's on dirt round tracks . im new to the honda world.

my first question is this . we have a 88 prelude with a h22a in it .the owners before us made a custom plate for the stock intake and put a holley 500cfm 2bbl on it. along with a motorcraft distibuter.it runs ok, but the rules say it must be stock with a stock air box.plus i think it would run alot better with the FI.

we have another 88 prelude with the stock 2.0 double cam in it, but the crank is broke. im am wondering id all of the feul injection will fit off the 2.0 on to the 2.3?

any help would be great guys.

well that 2L motor is actually a b20 and not an h series motor. i cant imagine how the manifold would fit between them and im sure it wouldnt cost much to get those parts used off an actual h22.

hmm, if it is a h22a in there, you'd need a h22a intake manifold - h23 wouldn't work (lower-half anyway). If they threw a carb on there, when you throw the original h22a intake manifold, you'll be going to fuel-injection (so look @ what pump, etc was used and make its the right one). And you'll need an ecu for that, from the sounds of it - I don't think they have a p13 ecu w/ a obd0-1 harness in there. Oh, do you have any pics of this beast? Kinda got me interested (I've seen pics of 3g preludes /w h22's but none carb'd).
