Default 6th gen. Trans. in a a 5th gen. car... A couple of questions...

What will I be using from the sixth generation? I've got the whole car, I just need to know what I'll need. Will I use the 6th gen. torque converter, flexplate, starter, and axles? Thanks in advance.

With manual transmissions, everything is interchangeable.

I'm assuming it's the same with the auto. Use the 6th gen tranny and everything from the 5th gen just to be save.

There should be no ECU issues from what I understand.
