i have a 97 hatch that needs a new front bumper cause the person i bought it off of hit something with it and theres a smal rip in it but anyway would a newer style bumper work like 2000 style or do i have to stay with the 1996 through 1998 look ?

 

You would have to stay with the 96-98. If you wanted to upgrade to the newer look, you would need to change the whole front (Hood, fenders, headlights, bumper)

 

could anyone point me in the right direction for a kit to buy with a link or something or would i just have to pick through junk yards for everything ?

 

You can either buy it new from a dealer, used from a salvage yard or check eBay and the classifieds.
