check all of your coolant hoses and fix the one that bad(if you see smoke then one is bad or loose, also check your radiator),also change your thermastat. you also might have a vacume leak. the factory accord has less vac
line attached to it so make sure you plug up the empty ones on you intake manifold. what ecu are you running and do you have any codes?

You sure you bled your coolant all the way? T-stat would be a good thing to change whenever swappin in older motors. But driving until your motor started smoking? It woulda been wise to stop if you saw that needle climbing but thats me.

okay i fixed the overheat problem the reason why it was over heating was from when my friend put my radiator back in the car his dumb *** forgot to plug up the plug to the fan under the radiator something that simple but yeah i got it running cool now.

now the onlything that i have left is the surge problem its surging from 1000-3000 so i pluged up all the vacs......fixed the fast idle and iacv and....put my thumb in the throttle body and still surge like crazy ......anymore pointer?

thanks in advance

well i had this surge problem with my car where it would idle from 1000 - 4000 then sometimes 5000 rpms but i took it to my boys shop and he sprayed this special spray on my intake manifold gasket area and it idle perfect so took my car home and bam..................my intake manifold bolts were lost as hell....

now here comes the problem i have now.....HEHE all my intake manifold bolts are good besides 3 . The 3 that are bad are short meaning broke off the guy that gave me the engine which was free i did not pay no money before ya'll call me a jack@$$....

do does anybody know an easy way to take off the studs from the intake side of the engine? has anybody had this problem with the studs.....i already took the intake mani off so i just need help with that please. i will post pics soon to show you what i am talking about if you guys need pics....

just take 2 NUTS and ut them on the stud, lock them togeather with 2 12mm open end wrenches and turn them out. if they broke then use a vice grip or pliers to twist them off
