Default Engine choices.

I have contacted a shop of JDM engines to ask what are there prices on there full swap for my car.

I precisely asked the B18B. He told me it would be 2k(canadian) $ for a full swap including transmission mounts axels and duh the engine also the ecu. It should be a 94+ engine. so younger is better no?....T

hen he tells me for 200 more i could get the same things but with the gen one b16....with vtec wow...

-_-( we all know that vtec is to save gaz on the low rpms (dont flame me for this...lol)
so should i go with the younger more torqui engine or the good old b16...man i should ask the guy is i could a mix of both ^^,...ls-vtec lol...

anyway.

thx for the reply

search this is a NEVER ending debate, read both sides and pick what'll work better for you.

If you must really have our .02

Ask what a b18b, with a b16 tranny will run you.

$2000C = $1,790 US???? Damn that is way over priced and so is $1,969 US for a B16 swap...You can find swaps cheaper than that or does that include labor?? ask them if that B18b is JDm or if they can get you a CDM oe USDM one becuase its the same motor and should be a hell of a lot cheaper...but if thats the prices you are willing to pay then I would go for the B16 if you are just going to swap it in and let it be or if you are going NA...if you plan turbo go for the B18b

No, and No.

gsr head >b16 head.

You have one header too btw.

Just because your area is filled with dying out festivas, don't think you are gods gift to racing with a poor mans R setup, one thats pretty damn lame, most people will agree why its more just a poor R motor.

Child please my daily is stock 12s.

Want to play? Shes not stock either.

Bring it and a slip or shut your **** holster mouth. Think i'm joking? I'm about 2 hours away that'll be a long walk home for you.

If you knew anything about Hondas you would know why the poor mans R is lame, and I have good feeling even my toy honda will still put a hurting on you.

You have 400 HP on stock header?

Ok....

You don't have a 9 second car it is that simple if you steal pics from google no one will care and or be impressed.

Come on race me I called you out, after I win your car I'll kick a window out just to watch you cry

And no your Poor type R can't be stock as no way in hell does a b16 head stuffed on a c1 block count as stock.

in order to even make 400hp your not going to have a stock header. It would have to be turboed to make that much power meaning you would have a turbo manifold which is not a stock header.

Nah y0 hes spraying enough nawwz to blow the welds on his intake mani!!!

400 WHP will not get you 9s with 1900 lbs. Kinda odd, and well It's almost a shame hes going to puss out as I could use another EF in the family

He's full of it and thinks he can BS us, and now will run and hide.

My car is far from fast but I don't mind the truth, and I will run this lil **** if he had a spine.

Ok first of all, you have a header
the ITR 4-1 header isn't that good, it really isn't the best thing out there but not bad for mild setups.

LOL you'll regret putting your addy on HT as most people will have gay **** sent to your house, now my question to you is: I called you out and said come here, why can't you make it up here?

Because you don't have a car at all maybe? Because you know you'll be walking home? Because you can't race cars from NFSU2 with out your memory card thats stuck in your older brothers PS2?

I said bring it up here and be ready with a bus ticket, anything less is backing out.

So are you going to come up and lose your car like a big boy who doesnt know his Hondas or are you going to stay E-thugging?

I think we all know what will happen.

Wow, there is just so much wrong with this...first the car is killing everyone with just a head swap and header, then it's 400HP, then it's not stock - with 400HP??

We're all missing something here son, the claims you make just don't jive.

INteresting, that if that were the case of 400HP from the head swap and header, everyone would know by now and be doing that setup.

OHHHHH, I forgot, you have suspension too, so if this is right then:
B18C1 Horsepower .......... 170
B16 Head......................... xxx
Header............................ 10 (generous)
Suspension...................... 220 ???
TOTAL............................. 400HP!!

Okay, maybe I mixed up the head and suspension HP numbers, but there is no way you're getting 220 HP on the head. And these are all very generous/conservative numbers.
