Curious to see if anyone has any suggestions on this. I know that the AC drain pipes can get clogged and water will spill up over in either side carpet, but I don't think this is what's happening to me.

So it's raining out and i've got the defroster/AC running, so it's tough to tell what it is but I'm thinking it's the rain. My carpet along the side of the drivers foot well gets wet, and near the trunk/gas release piece on the floor it gets really wet and will soak up through the floor mat.

Now my car is lowered (slammed to be more precise) and I scrape on occassion but defintely not the actual body, just the side plastic running boards on bumps. I DID drive through about 6 or so inches of water awhile back and let it dry out (or what i thought was dry) and not sure if it's just coming back or if I've got an actual leak somewhere.


Anyone have any suggestions? Would the AC leak down in that area? Or if there is a leak, any way for me to see it easily?

 

Check the trunk area and back seat floor area. Sounds like water seeping in from the trunk or back door/window.

 

do you have a sunroof? Could be clogged drain tubes.
Bring it by the shop wednesday and i could check it out

This past time wasn't near as bad as before, it's just a little damp so I threw down a towel to help soak it up.

 

come by wednesday about 5:30 i'm in the second bay from the end with no windows.
