95 Jdm h22a accord with p13 Erratic idle, IAC valve problems?
How you guys doing, I almost have my swap running 100% except the idle is bad after the car is warmed up it starts jumping 1500-800 and it is very jerky in low gear. This doesn't happen all the time, if there is good air its usally fine. I already cheaked the MITV that is connected under the throttle body. That part was filled with coolant and working 100%.. I had the aem intake off and if you put your finger in the top hole of the TB the idle smooths out to 800 with no jumps. So we assume the problem is the IAC valve. Now we are messing with the IAC valve. If you unplug the sensor to the valve the idle will drop down, but I tried to drive it and it kept stalling. So the sensor the the IACV circled in red is connected again. Check engine light is still on of course, I think it is flashing 61.THE BIG PROBLEM IS I don't know how to connect the vacum hoses under the unit?? Can anyone provide a picture or a diagram that makes sense on how you hook up the IAC valve vacum lines???? NEED HELP BAD !!

from the look of it...looks like your vacuum is wrong...i dont know where it goes exactly...but it look like the your butterfly solonoid vacuum stays open all the time...because you hook it up directly to the manifold...it suppose to hook up to your IAB box on the bottom of the intake mani.
heres a few things that happend with me when i swapped a a4 into my eg.
everytime i stpeed on the brake my car would die.
my idle would jump on and off
things i did to fix it:
took off my IACV cleaned it out throughly
then check my EGR it was stuck open all the time
after that i did a valve adjustment and changed my ECU to a p28 mugen chipped
everything is running fine now and idles very nicely

Ive seen that, but were the hell does the part that I outlined in red hook up to?
That diagram is crap, not even the same engine.
If someone would take the time to take some actual pics on how to hook up that IACV on a h22a obd1 I will paypal you some money!
