swapped a d16y7 in my 89 ef hatch, also did a HMT setup. now my problem is the motor wont start. i put ingnition on and the new walbro fuel pump primed, did it again and primed, thrid time nothing, swaped out a newer main relay that knew worked and still nothing, checked the wiring under the back seat that goes to the pump and the positive the test light was really dim? i have a new battery and i checked for spark on the plugs and no thing also, even swaped out anohter obdo si dizzy and still nothing, i was wondering if anyone has and ideas on what it could be or what i can try that might make it work? the ecu is all turboedited from chris harris from (xenocron) and i have 390cc injectors. one more thing is we did the dual point to mpfi swap. and me and my friend that did it are 110% sure it was done the right way. he did his and worked first try. im thinking it has someting to do with the fuel pump or a fuse or etc. please help. thanks in advance.

Check your wires.. make sure they arent broken somewhere and check to see if you have no blown fuses

if the fuel pump is bad it and you dont hear it priming something is wrong maybe the wires came loose? or a bad pump? spray starting fluid in the intake tube and see if it starts for a second if it does its definetly a fuel problem
lol be easy i read that **** fast...to the best of my know how.. newer motor to use a old obd0 dizzy.. u need a braket for the spark time..how i noe this i have a d15b with a obdo dizzy..i got pics if u need them..
I'm the guy that performed the MPFI swap. I am thinking the ECU is getting no signal from the CPS as it is cranking over. So it doesn't want to fire the main relay or ignition or anything. So either the CPS is bad or my wiring? Or a broken ecu ground? I think the ground is only in place when the CPS signal is there..
