What other problem could it be??
Ive searched and searched for hours and still cant find no solution. I got a 94 accord ex vtec with a new engine in at 83,000 miles. The problem is sometimes when I accelerate or go into vtec, it feels like the car is just holding back like something is stuck and if i push the pedal harder or for longer, its like it gets unstuck and then speeds up real quick. Does anybody know what this problem could be?? I cleaned the erg ports or erg whatever it is, drained and flushed the whole coolant system, new spark plugs, and countless other things. my check engine light is on and the code reads up as an o2 sensor which supposedly got fixed by my mechanic but the light still comes up. Anybody know what these symptoms might be or whats causing it?? thanks
This may sounds retarded but it's an idea.. Maybe a shotty Torque converter? I don't know all the details but mine does something similar to that and I've been told by a few people that it is the torque converter. The converter won't lock up until I push it hard like when I come out of a toll booth.
When the CEL is on the computer runs the engine managment in a default or safe mode.
I'd say head back to the mechanic that didn't fix the problem you payed to have fixed
