thanks for the replys but this is the thing... like i said someone i know is doing my swap for me... and i noticed that there is no resistor box..... im not sure what the resitor box does my buddy with a b16 ef hatch jus had to get a resitor box wired in...i asked the guy doing the swap for me bout the resitor box and he said newer motors have low "impede" or "impeads" or somethin like that n its not needed..... he told me when you have high "impeads" which is in older motors a resistor box is needed..... i dont kno if the impead thing im talkin bout is correct but what is the deal with injectors and the resistor box???..... i dont kno if this guy is too lazy to do the work or if hes is right about what he says thats why im asking for opions!!!... from what i kno on a d16z6 out of a eg hatch needs one.... its a obdo 1 motor obviously n a obdo car but all the wiring was done correctly....n im using the whole z6 setup n injectors. i just have a s2 manifold, imtake, cam gear, and headers. so keep the opinions going thanks
OBD0 cars have resistor box yes because the injecotrs are high impedience and new OBD1 cars like the EG don'e use them because they are low impedence...you can either use OBD0 inectors and keep the resistor box or convert to a non-resistor box set-up and keep the stock z6 injectors

the resistor box ensures that only so much power goes to the injectors the z6 motor comes with 12v constant injectors..so in your situation you would just have to do a dpfi to mpfi swap and then the obd swap to use the p28 if you have any more questions ill help you out..i just did my own swap and got varied information i however already had the resistor box so i just used the obdo injectors and left the injector resistor box where it was and you will also have to swap over the drivers side mount and depin your distributor to match the distributor on the z6 oh and one more thing you must use your exhaust manifold from whatever you had in the car the downpipe wont match make sure you get the 4 wire o2 sensor also it is an easy swap if you take your time and do it right. i only have about 1000 dollars in my swap which some will say is too much but im happy

ok thanks...so pretty much my setup is fine.... beause what your saying is if you use the z6 injectors theres no need for a resistor box needed... so what the guy told me about the low and high impediance was right.... thanks for your help man
