power locks help

Default power locks help

my power loocks seem to have a broken part iside the door. ive taken of the door panel and now am wondering if it is possible to even get to the power lock system through the water shiled or if i need to take the door further apart.

remove the plastic alignment pin at the top left of the picture, then use a razor kinife to slice the putty holding the shield on the door. That way you can re-use the putty when going back together.
Depending on the YEAR of this accord, you might be able to find 3 #1 phillips head screws holding the lock actuator in place or later models the entire lock assy has to be removed because the retaining screws are inaccessible.
The picture looks like 94-97 so you should look for the 3 screws if I'm correct
