Default fuel tank

i have a 02 v6, with 86k, with a fuel tank that leaks at the seam. i dont think that this is covered by the warranty. as far as fuel tanks, i want to buy the tank new, what is the best type, ie., composition of the tank, manufacturer. i have a mechanic who can install the tank, should i just buy a new tank from the dealer?

while i have the entire rear undercarriage apart is their any upgrades to the suspension that i could make at this time, i would assume that while replacing the fuel tank that all this other stuff will be apart and i could swap out/ upgrade some parts.

the whole rear suspension has to be dropped to get the tank out and it's a pain. I would get a honda one just because an aftermarket tank is going to be hard to come by (one of good quality anyway)
