Default Fast Clicking noise when breaking....

Whenever I break, I hear a very fast clicking noise..... It kinda sounds like a bunch of crickets..... I can hear it even when i just pull the E-brake to stop....... I have drilled rotors and thought maybe it was the brakes going bad and instead of squealing it clicked..... I checked the brake pads and they are all good..... Should I try to replace them anyways? Thanks

try servicing your calipers...remove all the rust on the mounting braket for the pads, lube your slider pins etc etc...
