Where to buy protection?
im about to pick up a 1986 honda rebel for my first motorcycle. safety is a big concern for me since i live in LA and have crazy drivers here. Where do you buy clothes and protection? Where are good deals? Also we don't get really cold weather here so i was wondering what would you suggest for a leather jacket? or jeans with protection built in? please give me your input. thanks a bunch!!

+1 on Terra. They have a good amount of stuff in stock, so you can try on different jackets.
Since you are in LA-LA land, I suggest perf'd leather. It does get hot and humid, so you'll appreciate the airflow. In the canyons, it sometimes gets down to the 40s, but you could always throw on a sweater over the jacket.
