Welcome back!

Did your insurance cover the replacement of the bike?

Ouch! Progressive sure took their sweet time...

Are you sticking with them?

EG - I think you should get rid of the toy 600 and get yourself a BUSA.

BTW: sorry to hear about your gsxr.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Here are a few things I felt that are different: pros and cons

Honda 600rr:
I feel more stable on it, the front end seem shorter so it seems "smaller" to me which is easier for me to handle. I like the powerband of the 600rr more, although I feel it doesnt have the top end the suzuki had. 13.5k &lt; feels like power is dieing off, compared to suzuki 13k &lt; keeps on pulling. Tons of mods avialiable. NEEDs slipper clutch and steering damper. I guess from having one on the gixxer i never really noticed how it felt without one until I rode my 600rr. My hands go numb sometimes riding the 600rr from virbation, where as on the gixxer I never had that problem.

Suzuki GXSR 600:
I really like the styling of the new gixxer 600. I really like the gear indicater, the red/amber display. The handles bars were more comfortable on the gixxer then the 600rr. Slipper clutch + steering damper really helped out, the bike was very stable. The suzuki had very poor mapping in low/mid rpms. The bike felt like it would bog at wot under 10k rpms, whereas the 600rr takes off like a rocket.

overall, I am very pleased with the 600rr, I cant wait to start cleaning it up.
