I am in process of installign this and the instructions are not that clear.
Apart form that the bracks are all suited to LHD cars and i am having to flip stuff upside down to fit it all.
I have spent 2 hours searchign this site for install guide.. anyone know any good links off the top of their head ?

Its a pretty straight forward install. Here is a simple step by step.
Remove gas cap ( to relieve fuel pressure )
Disconnect negative battery terminal.
Disconnect and label all sensor plugs on the stock IM. Do the same with the vac lines on the rear of the manifold.
Remove the few coolant lines for the IACV and FITV.
Unhook throttle cable and be careful not to bend or kink it.
Remove fuel line and anything else still connected to the fuel rail/manifold.
unbolt the manifold from the head and lift up and out. Be careful not to damage the knock sensor as letting the manifold just drop down will smash it.
Move all sensors and the throttle body over to the new IM. ( IAT, IACV, entire TB, and brackets for throttle cable and anything else.) Also remove the fuel rail and be careful not to damage the rubber o-rings around the injectors. Id remove them and wipe them down and apply fresh motor oil to all the o-rings as well as a visual inspection to insure you didn't tare one.
Reassemble in reverse order. Id also recommend setting up the whole IACV relocation kit before installing the IM.
Take your time, and i would highly suggest getting your hands on a HELMS manual.

yeah i have everything in .. just need to know where to run the IACV hoses. Photos would be great.
Everything else in mounted hooked up.
I have also installed RPM throttlebody and had the skunk IM ported
I have the helms, and it was handy so far.
where does the nipple at the back of the skunk go, as the butterflies are effectively gone now.

Its been quite some time since i had mine skunk manifold installed as i removed it and my JUN head and sold everything.
I capped the intake resonator vac line, plugged in the main vac line in the back of the manifold, i believe i still plugged in the IAB vac line as well just to prevent a leak, and thats where my brain fails.
Did this Skunk manifold come with the IACV relocation kit ? If so there should be 2 metal plates with nipples on them, as well as 2 gaskets and some hosing. You need to match up the plate to the IM and be sure it lines up correctly with the IACV holes, do the same with the gaskets. Then just bolt them up and run the lines. I just kinda let my IACV dangle. YOu could zip tie it to a more suitable location if you wanted.
If you want to snap some pics of the relocation kit i can try to further explain it for you.

yep will show pics tonight. I got 2 metal plates, and only one gasket however.
yep i capped the intake resonator, as i removed resonator etc with the CAI.
There is also a nipple at the back behind runner 4, that i assume goes to the black box under the stock IM, however by installation instructions is not used with the stock setup.

ok below is the pic of the IACV, the two hoses going to left of pic are the existing pipes on stock IACV, and the skunk plate supplied that fits the IACV , the hoses are going to left.

what i want to know where do they go, as there is no fast idle valve used with the skunk.
The next pic where my finger is at back of runner 4 is a nipple. where does it go.
As far as i can tell it use to hook up to a check valve whihc goes to bypass solenoid valve into bypass control diaphragm. None of these are used or mentioned in skunk install either.

Question 3 is on top of the TB there is a nipple that normally goes to the air boost valve, this is also not used ?????

One of the lines has to go to the water neck from the IACV. One also to the FITV but it looks like you have an aftermarket throttlebody so.. loop it ?
Im kinda drawing a blank. Ill look over my stock IACV to double check in the morning. Sorry i couldent be of more assistance at the moment.

thats ok... yeah the FITV is removed as i am running an RPM TB.
The photo shows the IATV, the 4 pipes that are not connected currently.
What do you mean by water neck ? the thermostat ?

OK i just looked. I was semi right.
One goes to the Thermostat housing, the other to the throttlebody just before the FITV. The FITV itself is connected to the other plug on the thermostat housing.

Thanks, with my aftermarket TB, the FITV is removed totally.
I have two nipples at the TB unsused at the moment so i am guessing i run one in and one out of IACV. The other two connections must be vacuum , that might need to go to TB/IM ?
if you wouldnt mind, once you're done, can you please take pictures?
My manifold is in my car now (I just got the motor back in) and im still missing a few of the lines to install..
I will take a picture tomorrow of my install to show you what i mean.

ok guys finished installing new TB tonight, putting back the CAI etc etc and she turned over first go.
However the idle was high and also the car is throwing a CEL (think it is because EGR blocked off), but will confirm tomorrow night what it is.
What i did notice is when i come off acceleration the new TB will not return to idle position when car comes to a stop. It seems to stick a little.
Could this be due to it being new ?
Will look into CEL tomorrow night and further diagnosis.
