Default auto to man swap compleate but have qestions.

i just got done doing the auto2man swap on my 90 crx dx. drive like a race car now, but i have a couple questions.. first, i got the trans from a 90 civic unknown submodel, but the trans has a vacume port on the top of it. does this need to be hooked up and what is it for. also, in a normal shift patter, 5th gear should be in the uppermost right. well, its not. it is 4th gear. fith gear is where 4th is (center bottom). any ideas on that one. other than that no problems. however, the write up should state that the flexplate bolts are a major mother-f$%^king pain in the ***!!!!.

Huh, you are saying 5th gear and 4th gear are in reversed positions?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by gsxr1k05 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">but the trans has a vacume port on the top of it. does this need to be hooked up and what is it for. </TD></TR></TABLE>

That's not a vacuum port, it's like a "vent". it's supposed to be open to let built up gasses or wutever out.
