I have a 1990 Civic DX with a mini-me swap in it...it had the DPfi and now has the MPFI....i bought a new engine harness today from a 91 civic that had MPFI....will that harness plug right into my existing dash harness or it will not work becuase my car stock had the DPFI and this harness is for a MPFI....any help would be appreciated

 

Won't work. But you can use the injector wires and the resistor box. But hey, you have a lot of extra wires not. MPFI harness WILL NOT plug and play with DPFI.

 

So i have to get a DPFI harness and start with that? cuase i looked at the MPFI harness and it has all of the same connectors as my stock harness does now only thing different was the 4 injector plugs instead of the two....other then that everything is identical...thank you for the help please let me know if i definitly need to get a new one or is there a way i can wire this one to work right.....only reason i need to know soon is becuase i sent my stock one to rywire and he converted it for MPFI mini-me swap and when i plugged everything in all the wireing is messed up and it is throwing codes for vtec spool solenoid valve, oxygen sensor #1, crank position sensor, fuel injectors, and ignition output signal and my car is in limp mode right now so it sucks....i figured i would just get a stock harness and let someone In New JErsey just wire that for vtec

 

you can make it work but its way easier to convert a dx harness

 

DO you think you can tell me how to make it work becuase its the only harness i have right now and i cant find a DX harness around here so i think im going to have to make this one work....thanks
