zc distributor help

Default zc distributor help

My engine light came and i checked the blinks on here and it said that crank angle sensor and tdc sensor is what i got of this site for ef. would it be the same codes for my zcand if it is like should i replace the two sensors or the whole distributor an my car shuts off soemtimes like its miss firing and then dies is it because those sensors.

dohc zc? it would be a external sensor, its on the exhaust cam.

if its sohc zc then i cant help you.

crank sensor (code 4) and TDC sensor (code 8) are both in the distributor on DOHC or SOHC ZCs - CYLinder sensor (code 9) is on the exhaust camshaft on DOHC ZC and in distributor on SOHC ZC - codes 4 and 8, you probably need a different distributor

If you need a Obd0 Dohc zc distributor or cam sensor I have both. Took them both off when I converted to Obd1! Pm me for Q's. Can have them shipped out tommorrow via UPS!

What ever you do be sure to get a ZC distributor! The D series is not the same. The shaft is about 5 degrees off from the ZC so it wont run

want do you mean it is off by 5 degrees? i used my stock D series distributor on my ZC swap and it seems to run fine. now you got me all worried about it. what "part" is it exactly off by? the way the distributor mounts to the cam? if so that could be fixed by just advance/retard the timing right.
