O'Reilly Fall Nationals from Dallas Texas... Top Fuel Drag Racing...
This was my first time to get a lot of use of my Nikon D70s. I am pretty happy with the overall results. All of the action shots were taken from the very top of the bleachers. I really see the need for a nice zoom lens, which will come eventually.
Let me know how y'all like them and any advice would be much appreciated!!

haha NO... It rained really hard for about 30 minutes. Then it took about an hour to get the track dried. They raced all day after that.
I have learned this over the years. EVERY TIME I go to Ennis there is some kind of storm brewing that day. But for the last 10 or so years I have only got rained out once. So for future reference... Just go!
