I noticed that a couple of aftermarket Spoilers are out for the 06 Si. What gets me is that they only have two posts. Is the center post on the stock Si functional or does it bolt through the trunklid? I know my cousin would like to put an Si spoiler on her Ex. Besides the problem of rewiring the 3rd brake light, will it fit without having to drill new holes for the center post?

the si spoiler will not fit, you have to replace the whole trunklid

 

GET THE OEM SI SPOILER ! ITS PRETY SICK :D and what ever spoiler you get YOU HAVE to drill it which is somewhat dificult

 

The Si spoiler should fit on any EX, LX, DX out there, and yes, the center post is bolted on the Si. In fact, that is where the third brake light wiring goes as well.

 

The SI spoiler WILL NOT bolt directly to an DX/LX/EX trunk, they are not drilled the same.

 

If you put an Si spoiler on a non-Si you'll have to drill some holes, they do not match up. If that sounds like something you don't want to do (which you shouldn't), then you can switch trunk lids with an Si as long as the color matches. I think there is already a thread on this. Search for it if you need more answers.
