Taking my '96 GSR to the shop tomorrow, Stan is putting my turbo on. I have been waiting for a long *** time now the suspense is killing me

Set up:

Inline pro mani
Tial WG and BOV
Garrett T3/T4
2.5 in Downpipe
2.5 in I/C piping
Neptune
Turbosmart boost controller
... many other things

Hoping to make 300 whp

 

the most important part of a turbo setup is to have FUN!!!

U should be able to make that power w/ that setup.


Dont let anyone downplay ur setup, just make sure its what u want and enjoy it.

Hopefully when he's done installing your turbo setup, he can make things right with his customers.

Stan is a good guy, he always pulls through. He's already apologized and is taking the steps he needs to take to take care of everything. Everyone is acting like he's going to pull a One-Fab, which is ridiculous.

Actually I know he's a nice guy because I've done business with him myself. However, if I were in the people's shoes that were waiting for him, I don't really care WHAT's going on. If he can't fulfill his commitments he should refund his customers or stop taking orders and shut down until his financial burdens subside.

Maybe you like people dicking around on your dollar. I don't.

I've never "dicked anyone around on my dollar", and don't plan on it.

I'm not speaking to anyone directly, or about any certain situation, being I don't know each and everyone's exact status regarding that, but people sometimes need to exhibit a little patience.

Well i'm taking it to him tomorrow night, should be done the next day. Ill post pix as soon as it gets done. I went last night to talk to him about it, would of left my car there but there was no room inside and he didnt want me to keep it outside over night. He said it should make anywhere from 250-350 whp, so ill just have to wait and see.

Ill put some pix up in a few min of all the stuff i have. (if i can find the camera)

 

is jason tuning your car to or tony was just at stan shop

 

I think tony will tune it, not 100% sure yet tho. Its like an hour drive to his place. If jason is in town when it gets done and i dont have to drive then hes the man.

 

hey maybe we can both get are car tuned by jason if he comes back out again discount tuning i know he out here today tuning like 5 cars stan was trying to get mine done today 2 but no funds right now and i know tony shop is like 1.5 hours from my place but i will make trip if i have too
