Well.. Shit.. Turbo = no? yes? *picture of problem*
If you cant tell from the picture, not only is the turbo hitting the radiator, but the manifold is not even all the way on the head, if it were, i'd hit even more.. on top of that, that big bracket you see is where my alternator should go..
what would you all reccomend?
1. Flip the turbo around and have another custom downpipe made, with hopefully enough room
2. get a new manifold, with a different turbo mounting location (like a top mount)
3. something else.

I think Hawkze made a write up for a civic rad, search around for it. I seen them before. The civic rad will be where your passenger side fan is. here somes pics https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1106207
I woudl have mocked it all up before I have a custom dp made.. but since you are already did, i think you'll probably have to again because there is no way that thing is moving out of the alternators way. mock up where you want everything to be, chekc out the prelude pics section to see what other people are doing, and maybe get a civic radiator

I'm willing to bet you have the turbo incorrectly mounted on the manifold. From the looks of your pic, you need to flip it around. Also that may be the wrong mani for your car. You might want to double check with the manufacturer of the manifold.
did you have the manifold made to ur ar by somone locally, or did you buy the dp for your car w/that mani? if its the 2nd one, then you have the turbo turned around. the turbine side needs facing the alternator. there is bolts on the side of the compressor and turbine so u can adjust everything, dont take these bolts out, just loosen them.
to axlline, is that your car? man like that wiring. i cleand mine up a good bit, but damn that looks good. also whats with the plate on the side of the radiator? why wouldnt u want air cooling things off when u drive?

The manifold was bought, but, its for a turbo prelude.. the downpipe, is also supposed to be for a turbo prelude. The turbo, is like any other, its just a turbo. Thing is, when i flip the turbo where the intake is on the passenger side, the downpipe no longer fits and "snakes" like it should. thus why I put it this way in the first place.
I'd say AC spot if you can. Keep the alt away from the heat of he manifold...
Hasport offers an H-series alt relocation bracket in their H22-CRX mount kit that you might check out.

check out these brackets I am using one like the upper mount

got a pic of the dp outside the car? who did you get the mani and dp from? did you ask them how to mount it? when u flipped the turbo, did you adjust the turbine to fit with the dp?
it really looks like you ned to just flip the turbo. on the few turbo preludes ive helped installs on, the dp always comes out of the left side. I might just be talking out of my ***, but that seems like a rea simple solution. On my setup I hadta trim the from engine mount a little bit (maybe 1 square inch of material) and i had to trim the shroud off of my radiator fan.either way, it should work.
And remember running into an engine bay and cutting random parts off can ONLY make your car lighter, and thus faster

Well, that's not going to help him at all. His compressor is in the space that the alternator goes...he can't just move it in tighter to the engine, it needs to be completely relocated (if he can't move the turbo).

scrool down a little more, then you see the bracket the mounts it to the spot where a/c used to be, lol
edit: but i still think he has the turbo on backwards...
