Hey guys, my Stock SI lip was stolen, and I would like to replace it with another urethane one. I was looking at the EBAY lips, any one using them and if so what one and how do you like them? Im looking for a new lip for my 00 si.

well if your stock one got jacked, what makes you think that the new possibly aftermarket one wont get stolen? But as far as the lips go go for it, get a nice cheap one so if it gets stolen then your not out that much.

 

spare the occasional slight misfit, ive heard good things about the lips on EBAY, just try to find a semi respectable company to buy from and you should be good. preferably one with a number/email, return policy, or whatever. i plan on getting an ebay lip too, roads arent good enough around here to shell out the big bucks on something thats gonna scrape and snap.

im not sure of the name but my JDMSHIT 120 Lip is exactly the same as my friends 80 ebay lip

but if ur gonna want a non urethane lip get one from a respectable company

 

I have one, i got the mugen front lip replica from ebay....looks nice and you cant tell. the only down side like mentioned above is the fitment, sometimes you get luck and its perfect like from the factory most of the time you get one it takes a little muscle to get it to fit but i like the look. clean . Ill post up some picks after i get off work.

Lips are generally made out of ABS plastic, Polyurethane, or fiberglass. Fiberglass tends to break very easily. ABS lips are sort of in the middle, they aren't the best but they are durable. Polyurethane is often advertised as unbreakable, and for the most part, it is, but it is also normally the most expensive.

 

all i have to say is dont order from streetstyler.com, they are a rip off.. and they take for ever so **** up ****.. and if you ever do get it... it most likely wont fit!! just a heads up..

Got mine from there. $100 out the door.(front and rear) The fitment was ok, I had to work with it a little. They took forever to ship though, I pretty much considered my money gone 3 months ago. I finally got the lips a week ago.

depends on what coverage he has. basic wouldnt cover it i dont think in most places

That is so unbelievably ignorant. 98% of eBay is brand name items being sold by wholesalers. 2% of it is ssauto crap, which isnt even that bad. I dont even go to stores anymore, theres really no reason to with eBay.
