Default trade my itr trans for gsr trans?

I bought a used type r tranny that has a fresh rebuild, but lately I haven't been liking it too much. The gears are too short for my boosted integra, IMO. If anyones close to PA and has a decent gsr trans and would trade, lemme know. Probably not even up, but we'll see.

Get an LS Tranny. The GSR tranny also has short gears.

And all parts from Japan are plated in gold.

Personally I like short geared transmissions in boosted cars but, I know it's not for everyone

Bump for an excellent opportunity

I'm in southeast Michigan...I have a GSR trans I'd trade. I actually bought an ITR trans but it appears I've been scammed on it so now I'm low on funds and still need a trans to swap in for my all-motor build. IM me if you have any other details or ideas about a trade like this. I'm out of the country but will be back home in just under 3 weeks.

It's not that I dont like it, but being at 4500rpm at 80 and driving 2 hours home and 2 hours back from school will be too much, considering I got a 3" exhaust and no cat. It's quite loud. And I dont like that I have to shift into 5th before the 1/4.

FYI the GSR sits pretty close to 4000 at 80mph just to compare to your ITR...

Wouldn't the 4800rpm own? I thought the further up the RPM range you got on the primary cam the leaner the burn.. good for MPG one would think

since your getting the better of the deal are you going to pay for BOTH tranny's to get shipped? I dont have the expenses to do so...sorry man. Another thing, I CANT be out a car, but if we were to trade, the DAY your tranny got here, is the DAY I would have mine out, and sent to you. Sorry for the inconvience but, its all I can do. Get back to me on how you feel about this.
How many miles on your trans? can you put up a pic
