HELP... Skunk 2 Manifold Fitment issues in a hatch...PICS
Here are my fitment issues. This is in an ED hatchie, d16a6, hondata gasket, SK2 IM, and only the front ES MM insert.
I was feeling behind these two ridges to find the fuel lines behind. What would be the best course of action from this point? The bolts on the IACV are rubbing regardless if the Hondata gasket is used. I would rather not hammer these two ridges (in boxed red) back if not needed.
My buddy was able to torque the motor front and back with the pry bar at the left and ride side motor mount. the alignment of the motor mounts do NOT look centered in the mount. Could this be relative?

That would really **** me off if the part you ordered is for the car and engine your running and doesnt fit. I would call SK2 and be like WTF. Make them do something about it. Thats terrible. O crap. I just re-read the post. If your motor mounts are not installed or lined up like they should be then it will affect? effect? anyways how the motor is sitting causing your manifold to rub like it is. Fix your mounts and Im willing to bet that it wont rub anymore. If it still does, revert back to option one. lol. Good luck
