Front Sway Bar Questions/Suggestions
I've searched for HOURS trying to find the size of the front sway bar on my 1993 Si. I've seen it posted somewhere, but can't find it now.
I'm considering upgrading the OEM bushings to ES poly bushings. I primarily autox the car in HS and this is one of the few upgrades allowed...as far as bushings.
Has anyone done this? How difficult is it? I'm guessing I should also upgrade the end link bushings. Did you notice any improvement?
TIA!!!

OK, thanks! So the Si and the EX have the same size. I was thinking I read the Si got a 22mm...
Any tips or installation tricks? Improvement?
TIA again!

tip: if you work at it enough, you can avoid taking any exhaust components off by unbolting your cat and squeezing it between the pipes. Thats how i did my GSR front sway.
Good luck to you, hope you have a rear sway bar, and if you dont, you should get one. Just having a front bar will cause even more understeer in your understeer happy honda. It does give it a more solid feel though. I am about to install my Type R rear sway in my hatch to balance my car out. I cant wait

I think I read it was a 21mm last night...Helms gives NO HELP on replacing the bushings
No, mine doesnt have a rear bar. I autox the car in stock class, so I can't add one, either.
Thanks for the help!!!

Just get a complete G3 Integra front sway (or better). In SCCA Solo Stock class, you are allowed to replace the front sway bar along with its bushings, brackets, and endlinks. For a stock class car, just replacing the bushings with polyurethane isn't enough - you want a beefier front bar that is as stiff as possible to increase roll stiffness and help with camber control up front. Do you already have R-compound tires, good dampers, lightweight cat-back exhaust, and aggressive brake pads? How about your alignment? Tire pressures?
