Are there any Mid 13sec NA Hondas w/AC and quiet exhaust?
I was just wondering if there any guys here running crazy NA buildups with full accessories, with at least AC and PS, full interior, and a QUIET exhaust....
I'm getting older and with that, comes the desire to have a smooth, comfortable, and quiet driving experience, regardless if I have more than one car or not.
If no one else has kept their NA build ups quiet (i'm sure a lot have tried but wanted more power, so they make sacrifices in sound/comfort), I want to be one of the first ones with like 225whp with a quiet exhaust.
Shoot, a Corvette Z06 can have 500hp and still be quiet, why cant we
i know thats a far cry, but you get what I'm thinking.

Well, take a fully built motor race motor and drop it into a street car with AC/PS, full interior, etc and there you go...
About the muffer... You probably can get a fairly quiet muffler, but no matter what, at WOT revving to 9000 rpms, its not going to be quiet..
Mid 13s is a fairly easy task even with AC/PS in the car..

you weld a y-pipe in line with your exhaust at whatever point you please, for me, right after the header collector....the y-off section has an electronic valve on it, much like a throttle body, you push a switch for a few seconds, butterfly opens, vtak happens....pretty simple

I use my AC all the time, so ditching it to lose 50 lbs is not an option.

iim just saying, the ac has nothing to do with how fast your car is other than the fact that its 50lbs of weight, unless its 'on' of course....
yea i run a stock catback, so its quiet unless the cutout is open....

what ecutout did u pick up?
i was going to get one myself for the turbo setup, but the difference in A/F ratios between when its open and closed is staggering (at least~20whp/20wtq) so I decided not to because it would have to be tuned while it was open, which would leave me a pig rich mixture when i closed the cutout.

it does throw the tune off a LOT.....
i used the bandlanzhpe.com unit....just found it randomly, quality: 2 of 5 stars....constant maintenance required....but it was cheap....goes to show ya....

I'm looking for a quiet exhaust system myself. I drive a fully built b18c1, thing is loud even with stock exhaust and headers. I was looking to buy the RS-R, supposely is quiet, and very affective.
If you're looking for quiet, you're more or less talking about stock intake and header and something like an RS-R (I have it on two cars.. with a DC header its quiet but not stock quiet, with stock header, its stock quiet.) Intakes are loud as hell and headers make a lot of noise as well. You would need to build one hell of a motor with quite a tune and some smooth idling cams... or just buy a shitload of insulation and put yourself in a cocoon so you can't hear the motor
anyone who says AC doesent belong in a honda is out of thier minds. the last thing i ever wanted was AC when i had swamp *** on the way to work or a date.
WS catbacks are decently quiet, run a hi flow cat and it helps.

I have the A`PEXi world sport on my car. It`s quiet. I don`t have AC but with Azenis and interior taken out in my hatch, I went 13.86. GSR engine, intake, the WS exhaust, factory cat. So put the AC back in and it could still probably be a 13. If not... just get a set of Skunk2 cams.
