Some good aftermarket pistons that will bump your compression into the 11's will go a long way towards making more power.

AHhh i guess i should mention the best thing about the motor.Im running 87 octance because of the compression and if i get into the 11s ill have to bump up to a higher octane.Im a newb when it comes to building motors. As far as the exhaust system i think a step up to 2.5 would be nice cuz im sure the ls header and cat are bringing me down.

Any suggestions on an intake manifold and header? both nothing to expensive but just right.Ive never done tuning before but should i tune after those two pieces?.Im new to b20 and bseries motors in general but from what i read the sleeves are thin.Whats going to cause this motor to blow? so i can avoid it

look into the edelbrock header at summit racing, its super cheap, 130-160 bux... slap a 2.5" collector on it and a 2.5" kteller or similar exhaust and your b20 will love it. if you get bigger cams like the crower 403's or crane 16's youll be able to run 87 on b20z pistons, they will get you near 10:1...

I have this wierd puff of smoke if i drive the car hard.It happens after the car has been sitting for 30 minutes or so.Its a quick little white puff sometimes small and some times big.I kno that oil is bluish black when coming out of the tailpipe and coolant is white and smells sweet but this has neither those smells. This car doesnt burn any oil and its even golden when it comes down to doing the change and coolant is always topped off.

I would check into using the B18B intake manifold and B16/GSR throttle body if you are using the B18A. The edelbrock header is on clearance from http://www.summitracing.com for ~140 shipped in raw stainless.

What trans are you running?

JDM ITR Exhaust mani did well enough for me. I have heard of good results with the Edlebrock unit w/ a 2.5" collector. For the price it is worth a try. Also i used a Skunk2 IM. Some prefer Blox, but I have had good results with both and they are pretty cheap as well.

im saying with the compression you have right now the 403's would work good. i ran 404's at only 9.6:1 and still made 165 on a dynojet
