Default difference in distributor parts number?

Ecu was throwing a code 4 so we said to hell with it and bought a new distributor off "distributor king." Short story, there are two distributor parts number for the 1.6 non vtec sohc engine, years 88-91. parts number listed are TD02U and TD18U.
off our distributor the numbers are TD18U. When i placed my ordered they sent out part number TD02U.
I e-mailed the company and their response was that both the dizzy TD02U and TD18U are the same unit and that they only stock the TD02U. My question, are both distributor the same or are they not? I'd figure there is a reason for two different parts number, maybe they're not the same distributor. And if both were the same wouldn't they just have one part number? any feedback appreciated.

I know this doesn't answer your question but I've used the Hf dizzy on my Si and sohc ZC and also used the dx dizzy on the same motors and never had a problem.
