I don't see how it can be "Direct Bolt On" and "Piping Size 3" Piping" since that wouldn't bolt directly to a stock cat. Although from this pic it looks like the piping starts off small and flares out to whatever diameter it is(hard to tell if that's true 3" from the pics):

I just bought a 2.5" ebay exhaust. Al positive feedback, and i think it was either a tsudo exhaust or tsudo knockoff; well see how it works. got it for about 175 shipped.

I order that exhaust, it pretty good exhaust for the price. It is not a true 3 inch, the inlet flange is 2.25 inch but i cut that off and weld a 3 inch flange on

so i gto my exhaust in the mail, and was dissapointed to find that the piping is probablu closer to 2.25 inches than 2.5. also the muffler is huge, atl least it seems like that. besides that, it seems pretty nice

i dont understand why anyone would buy a piece of **** like that???? just go to an exhaust shop and have them custom bend you one. It will be higher flowing as there should only be 1 mandrel bend for a civic and it will be cheaper because no shipping (plus it won't rust). Just buy whatever muffler you want and take your car to an exhaust shop.

Buy the exhuast if that what you need, for the price it a great exhaust system. Bunch of ******* idiot running aorund talking **** when they never see it first hand before, i have the exact one on my hatch right now.

The muffler is big 4.5 tip i believe but i paint it black so it not noticable anyway, was suppose the way it sound, sound pretty damn good for a 175 exhaust.

$175 shipped you say? You sure are a smart guy! They dont sell honda/acura exhausts, nor are these catbacks/downpipes/turbobacks even close to $175. Try $400. Look for yourself.

wow. that looks great. comes with a resonator too! you can see the taper at the inlet, but like stolen said, just get that rewelded. prob less than $100. so 275 for 3" exhaust w/ a res is a steal.

they have exhaust piping kits for 175, for mild steel. although that doesnt include a resonater, a muffler, flanges, or hangers i assume. so your exhaust isnt really just 175.
Ill probably move up to a quality 3 inch next year anyways.

I emailed the seller on ebay asking him if it was true three inch piping. He never replied.
So I am skeptical
Think I'm gonna go with a k-teller instead.

It is a 3 inch piping exhaust, the inlet is only 2.25 though, probably made to fit the stock cat or something. All you have to do is cut off the flange and weld a 3 inch flange on then you have a true 3 inch exhuast system.

Why do people always listen to bunch of guy who goes by * i heard*, but dont listen to people who have the damn thing?

well the 2.5" exhaust i recieved was probably more on the lines of your average 60 mm exhaust. i guess they are meeasuring o.d.? So there is reason to be a little skeptical.

look on the ******* site moron. they have exhaust kits. it comes with flanges, hangers and you just need to weld it up.

dumbass. your so ******* stupid, you need to read before you post stupid comments.

yes its not complete, i said it has to be welded up.

go to summit racing or jegs and buy a resonator and muffer, it will cost you around 125 or so. or you can just weld it up as is. its not that loud on a turbo car.

175 for piping kit plus 125 for a muffler , the total will be 300. Plus you will actually know what your getting, noone will have to make stupid posts about if the 3"ebay exhaust is actually 3".

its still better then the ebay CRAP.

hang yourself.

LOL! $175 for some mandrel bent pipes? Anyone who buys that deserves to get ripped off. Its less than half that on ebay if you just buy straight aluminized steel and a couple 180 degree mandrel bends.

You can buy all the flanges/gaskets and hangers on ebay as well you will still be under $175.

You hang yourself.

Don't be mad cause your literate and cant read a web site, then i called you out on it.
Give hooked on phonics a call, im sure they can help you out.

Also another point, that im sure you wont be able to comprehend. Do you know what the point of diminished returns is?

Let me give you an example.

You go out and buy some mandrel "ubends" and pipe, hangers, and flanges for an exhaust.. I go and buy the $175 piping kit.

Now we both start at the exact same time making our exhausts on our cars. Of coarse since I don't have to test fit, cut, and fit again I will be done in 1/2 the time or even faster. Now while I am out driving my car and enjoying it while you are stuck under yours, this is where my point comes into play.

Time and personal enjoyment cost money, at least to me they do. So for most people spending 40-60 extra dollars for time and personal enjoyment it more than worth it. I don't know, maybe im wrong about you and your not stupid, maybe your just so worthless that your time is NOTHING. Either way your just another tool that trolls around the interweb thinking they know everything.

On your next post, try not to copy my "hang yourself" insult, be original if you can. With every post you make, you look more stupid. Try something different.

In the end you cannot beat that stainless system on ebay for $175. Cut off the flange where it meets the cat and weld on a 3" aluminized flange or extend the tube 12" to bypass the cat.

I don't troll threads and make up BS, I dont go around making fun of people like you, I don't go around starting trouble/BS. I dont need to "copy" your insults because I don't do it, I've grown past that stage.

Also I think you meant "illiterate" not Literate. Literate means you CAN read.

YOU might want to try the hooked on phonics.
