Default Build an EK4 JDM! update page 5...

as the topic says....

i'm located in indonesia... where its really hard to get jdm stuffs

anyway, wanna post this for sharing experience....

i've owned this car for about 5yrs, i'm getting bored with the looks and the engine 1.6L

got some mods like EK9 bodykit and regamaster rims...

next mod, re-paint new colour, spoon rims, new engine, aiming to get possibly very low 13s or hopefully very high 12s down the 1/4mile... (indonesia dont have proper drag track, so shitty traction guys! )

the first week....

take the engine out of the car, stripped the whole car and take it to smashrepair shop....

at this time i still dont know what colour suits best for my ride....

the second week.....

i've chosen the colour! hehe..

yes i want blue... but again, still dont know which blue should i get for my ride... anyway, this week the car must get the basic colour painted....

i dont remember the colour code, but it was choosen from Dupont Paint...

i think its similar to Electron Blue Pearl....

finish the paint, havent installed some bits like front bumper and wing, coz i'm affraid got scratch in the speed shop....

now it comes to the speed shop... Sigma Speed... Indonesian....

new we're talkin engine

well its B20 block with ori B16 ek4 head... took off the engine number from the old engine and put on the new one undercover 1.6L

at the moment, i haven't decided what camshafts, valve springs and valves that i'm going to use.... still confuse guys.. need suggestions.....

as for bottom ends... 85mm CP Pistons (12,5:1), Eagle H-Beam Conrods, Clevite metals, balanced crank, Toda Flywheel, ACT clutch...

once again guys, i need suggestions for the cyl head parts....

got some camshafts to choose here... Crower Stage 3, Jun Stage 3, Skunk2 Pro Stage 2 or 3, Toda C, Buddy Club spec V...

anyone with good suggestion? as my compression ratio is around 12,5 guys...

hopefully anyone come up with good reasons also

engine building process is continue as we speak....

go with CTR/ITR cams, cant beat OEM quality and they outperform many aftermarket cams
