I know I should've asked before I bought them, but I have four visors for my CD5 which only come with 3M tape. Does anyone have experience using visors with tape? Does the tape hold up well? Thanks for replies!
In 2 years working in a shop, I've never seen a vent visor that wasn't using double side tape. So the answer is, YES... it will hold up. Just be careful not to accidentally pull it or put pressure on it, as this may crack the visor itself or weaken the tape's strenght.

my OEM acura visors are held by metal clips, no gasket and tape and it doesn't leak
