Default Hood fitting question about Fiber Images Hood + B series

Does anyone know if the Fiber Images CF hood for the CRX will clear a B series motor? Also, does this hood have a web structure underneath? I went to a store today and they guys wouldn't show me the damn hood, but they said it doesn't have a web under it, but they didn't know if it would clear a B series. Anyone know? Thanks!

If the carbon fiber hood is a USDM style hood it should fit fine, just like a stock hood. I have a B16 with Hasport motor mounts and my stock hood worked fine when I had it. I now have a JDM
Si-R style (raised hood-Fiber Images) hood and no problems either.

Yea, it's got the web structure underneath. If your under the car, you can see a little bit of light through the hood.

the SiR style hood for the usdm crx front has no underwebbing or washer holes.

its very strong, these are the jdm crx ones we're having made by fiberimages:

usdm is the same thing. HAsport uses them on their k-series cars to allow clearence.

b-series will not be a problem. you can also trim the webbing a bit and rock a stock metal hood as well.......
