I am still new to the whole drag racing scene...
I have a 2001 GSR with AEM CAI...
I ran tonight, full interior, on stock Michelins...
here are my numbers...

1/4 15.143 @ 91.88mph

Can any of you guys see any weaknesses here??

Times pretty good, but i would work on you 60' times, they're ah not so good.......

 

mph could b up a bit, not bad at all though. get some sticky tires, i prefer 555Rs. burn out like hell and let er rip. i rev to 6k drop the clutch and let her go. then i line up, rev to a little over 5k, wait for the last yellow and drop that **** again. 2.1 60 fts in my undertorqued B16 powered coupe.

 

I am definitely looking for new tires.

I was considering Azeni's, Potenza S03's, and whatever else is in that price range.

I know the 60' needs work... as I said, I'm still new to drag racing, launching seems to be the biggest hurdle.

 

2.3s arent bad for street tires and a 2600lb car. tires work wonders though.
