need a trailer, cant afford it. so what about a tow dolley?
sick of going to the track (drag, road course) and having to worry about my car breaking. would rather just beat the **** out of it and if it breaks, it breaks. cant afford a trailer, and dont have the room for one anyway. anyone here use a tow dolley to trailer their car around? are there any dolleys that are better suited for lowered vehicles or on slicks? places like uhaul I usually have to remove my bumper and/or hit my downpipe.
I always had to remove my bumper to get the car on the tow dolly i used to use. if the car is lowered, you probably willl have to keep doing so. I havent found one that suits lowered cars yet. good luck
I dolley mine around all the time.i just raise the coilovers up all the way and no problems.on slicks were good till i put 24.5 9 13 are alittle to wide for my straps so i switch at the track
I use to dolley my car around, but I now have a trailor.
Heres a trick to get your car on the dolley without removing your bumper.
get two 4'x 2"x10" boards up them on the ramps and leave the ramps locked . Do not lower the pivot. The car should go right up without hitting. You may have to put blocks under the wood.

thanks for the replies and tips. Im not really looking to buy a regular dolley. I was more interested in seeing if there were any sort of custom dolleys that work better for our sort of situations. and like I said I have no room for a trailer. Ill figure something out.
