Default Creaking sound from front driver wheel

I have a creaking/clicking sound in my drivers side front wheel during acceleration in forward or reverse almost all gears seems to occur when torque is put on the wheels anyone know what this is? Btw it does not make any noise during turns hard or soft only when torque is applied during acceleration.
thx,
tim

What year is your car? Mileage, swap done to it? Recent work done on it, when did it start happening?

did you do anything to your suspension (particularly the upper control arm)?? Like put in a camber kit or the such? If it's a thud kind of noise, check all of your bolts, including the ones for the control arm/ camber kit. I had a thud/ click noise for a while like that, turns out I didn't tighten my bolts all the way on the camber kit. Make sure they're nice and tight.

yes, doesn't hurt to double check everything. i would have to say it is your axle. not all the time when an axle goes bad does it mean that it will click when you turn.
