maybe its a bad burn..the stock si ecu will defineatly run a stock hf..not perfect but it will start and go

Why not just get HF ECU? If you take that motor to high RPM's your 8 valves are going to cough.

I know for a fact you cannot run a Si with a HF ecu. But I dont know if its the same the other way around.

Just curious, why would you run a HF with a Si ecu?

What does reverse have to do with it?

Yea I put a pm6 ecu in my 91 hf it didnt stall nor sputter. if left it in for a long time, you would probably run rich and possibly foul your plugs.

hey guys...i wasnt trying to run my crx hf with the si ecu...i bought an pm6 ecu and i decided to try if it would work. so bottom line is i was trying to see if the pm6 functioned...i already have an hf ecu. its the sohc zc thats going in after i finish rebuilding it.

Because the hf has the reverse lights wire going to the ecu,,i dont know why honda did it,,but just go find the pinout for 88-91 hf and you'll see....alot of people have problems with the car stalling or acting strange in reverse so you just cut or pull the wire at pin b9 if your having problems

Hmm, I've heard of swapping Si ecus but not between the Si and HF. Either way, let us know how it works out.

P.S. Let me know if you need an ECU.
